Central ND | First of all I would like to send a huge thank you to AgTalk and all of it's contributors.
Today, Sunday, my dad mixed up some chemical and water to do some final spraying with our Case 4420 sprayer and then winterize it and put it away for the year. But when he went to spray, no boom sections would come on. Switches-check, boundary control off-check, pump-check, fuses-check.... could not figure out the issue, frustrated. Dealership closed, and didn't think we'd get it winterized. Quick search yielded posts from AgTalk mentioning the "boom shut-off relay", Case Part# 87265264, which is mounted on top of the center boom section. Quick few whacks with a pliers and back in business for now. Guess that part will go on the list to be replaced before next season.
Again, thanks to AgTalk and it's contributors, we were able to get up and going on a Sunday before freeze up. | |
