southern nebraska | 7 years and 10k acres and today is the 1st "break down" we have had on the fd75, other than sections and guards. Really it is my own fault. I was always told that whenever a belt starts to fray some to cut it off. Well I didn't do a good job of doing that and got a zipper fray on a belt that wrapped up in the tightened roll and pulled the splice out of the belt. Hour and a half and got it going again, not perfect but it will get us buy through the year, probably needs a new belt.
Agco draper, I kept a 16# sledge in the combine just to straighten out sickle bar if I forgot to pickup the head out of a ditch. I was so glad to get rid of the agco and only had it for 1 year. Cost me $25 an acre just to trade out of the piece of **** but money well spent to get rid of it. | |
