Subject: RE: Underground LP line

West Union, Illinois
What is the line being used for? How much load? Grain dryer or unvented space heater? Liquid or vapor?

DO NOT use refrigeration line use the heaviest copper you can get. And don’t use the long tapered flare nuts. Forged only. Bury it at least 18”deep.

Last bit of advice based on years of experience: Quit acting like a cheap farmer. Pay a professional guy to do it. Yes, I know, installing a gas line is not difficult. I belong to a couple gas guy groups on Facebook. A common subject is errors made in gas line installation by customers and tradesmen such as plumbers and electricians.
