Yes, take them out for corn. I don't know what you have, I made my own for our R72 and they slipped in through the inspection hole under the gear box on right hand side. then bolted them down from the back side by engine area. Pain to deal with but worked. The S88 I had they bolted from the outside of the concave from the engine side.
