Grandview, TX | I’m looking at a sunflower 9435 drill. I’ve got heavy clay soil that can get sticky underneath. I’m mostly conventional till. When done conventionally, I’ll try to wait for a rain to settle the ground before I plant, but will notill into cotton stalks or silage ground when possible.
The drill I’m looking at appears to have 4” ribbed closing wheels, as in the pic. What’s the pros and cons of this 4” versus a 3” ribbed wheel or will they be about the same ?
