East Palestine, Ohio (Columbiana Co.)
I have gotten rid of some in places where traps or shooting isn't feasible. I have a '99 chevy vortec big block that smokes "a little". I take a piece of downspout put it over tailpipe insert into ground hog den and let truck idle afew minutes. If there is more than one hole, I let the smoke come out for acouple minutes, then cover that hole working back to the truck. When I think that there is sufficient smoke in den pull truck out of way and quickly cover that opening also. I have had very few digouts doing this. Very few. But be prepared for the unexpected, as I have had some hogs come out while this process is going on.
Good luck!..................Dumb Farmer
