Not sure where your crack is or how hard to get at it it is but a lot of those have been welded. And if you can find another Case IH tank that's been scrapped to use its plastic as a patch have an identical plastic really helps in the process. I also know of several that have been patched with Polly and sheet metal screws and silicone sealer and have been holding that way for a long time. Use your heat gun to form the poly to fit if you can't find a piece that fits. Of course drill slightly oversized hole in the patch piece so the threads on the sheet metal screw bind things together better. Use a lot of screws and not just on the edges. Good luck!
