SWMN | No more of ours is going down cause we are done combining.The fields of ours that blew over did it a long time ago.This is the first time we have a cover crop of corn that is 2-3 inches tall. Where ever there was any downed corn you could only pick up part of it and the chopping knives would take the rest off the cob.I is a sad sight to so all the green in the fields. Am going to call the crop insurance adjuster back as you have no doubts as to where it was down.
Before the wind today some of the fields have 5 to 10 acres patches with nothing standing and they are saying the corn reels don’t help at all. | |
