We have a farm that has a serious deer problem, and nuisance permits aren’t an option. The owners sole reason for having it is to hunt and they only shoot mature deer. Has anyone raised milo around heavy deer pressure? Would the deer just eat the heads or leaves off the milo like they do on beans or corn?

Your most profitable course of action for deer problems would be to plant bearded wheat, harvest wheat with a stripper head and plant beans in the stripper straw
