sw ontario | Son works for major oil company and he mentioned today that the green energy push in Europe , Germany needing but not wanting to deal with Russian pipeline and price of NG has changed there production of different fuels. They do a constant evaluation of what production éproducts are most economically viable all the time.....Like a feed mill, grind corn, wheat,barley, wheat shorts, soy meal, canola meal,ect. that makes most economic sense
Iirc he said spot price for NG now would equate to $205 bbl. oil
Also now our government which shut down coal fired generating plants announced that they want to eliminate NG fired generation in 10 yrs.
He does not see any way we will move away from fossil fuels in the foreseeable future | |
