Subject: Skid Steer Solid Tires

SW Montana
We have been running solid tires on our skid steer and are looking at new sets. We have looked at Mclaren, MWE, Evolution, and Tweels. The solids are all $2500-3000 and the Tweels are $4,000. The Evolution are made and Canada and claim to ride softer because they are made in segments and are also just bolted to rim. The solids are all around 2" or more of tread and the Tweels are about an inch. Local tire dealer sold a set of tweels a while ago and claims they do not ride much different than solids. How much does it cost to retread Tweels and where do you find someone that would have a tread pattern for skid steer tires? Last set we had were Bobcat tires Solid Flex and only lasted just over 2000 hours with us cutting new grooves once. This used on dairy so air tires are not an option. Any other brands we should look at?
