South Central MN | A four month old having it can be much worse than school age kids having RSV because their bronchioles are so much smaller. Twenty-five years ago, our son had it (got it at 3-4 months) and I still remember the sleepless nights, the numerous trips to the doctor, and every single time he got a minor cold, he would get the croupy cough until age 3 or 4. For those times, I would bring him in the bathroom and run the shower to get it steamy, then take him outside for a bit in the cold air and that helped. | |
