Central wi | What I think. Ray Bradbury said,."you destroy a country by stopping them from reading." However, he should have specified reading truth or lies. Some of the biggest papers in the country are more or less total fiction, not going to name any. Also, some acclaimed novels are subtle propaganda, written with the purpose of forming the readers opinion. Heck, look at the Disney animated movies from the 50s onward, I recently watched the iron giant, made in the 90s, and was amazed at all the little hints and suggestions that writers worked into the story. A while ago I talked to a guy who said it's intended to shape your opinion on things, I disagree. The truth should be stated, and the viewer will either accept it or reject it.
