The problems with supply chains had already started prior to Covid-19. Covid-19 only accelerated the inevitable. The leaders of China, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Thailand closed factories in their respective countries multiple times during the pandemic and some are still closed as we speak. The solution is quite simple to solve the issues at hand and it is the country which is our neighbor to the south, Mexico. Mexico has an abundance of labor plus you eliminate some issues with ships or containers at port. The only downside is all manufacturing would need to be sourced in Mexico to eliminate the need for our folks in the Far East.
