Subject: Re: 15" soybeans

We used to go at a angle with our kinze untill we got RTK now i run it this year to between the rows and works real well(if you planted with autosteer the prior year,) For planting i don't like to run to much of a angle though i think a 10 degree is plenty, the row units will spend more time inbetween the rows that way instead of always jumping up and down on top of stalks. For spraying a 30+ angle works good, If you can stay in the seat spraying at a 90 angle from what you plant would be ideal if you had narrow tires. Next years project may be to reconfigure the end units on one side to make a full 40ft. pass and a 20-22" rowfor the sprayer(80ft boom).
