So the pan thats on mine would work for litter - Did you have any issues with bending the gate? My thoughts is the litter is "fluffy" enough that the door should be OK - but if someones pulled theirs off or wrecked something i'd rather not learn through the lesson of hard knocks... I HATE fixing...
