| The best fix that I know of is to just put a new gearcase on from Lankota. They don’t cost that much and I have had good results. Those 40 series gearcases are a very good design and usually give many years of service. When you do have a problem the entire box is usually very worn. You might be able to save some money, but if you don’t want to have to worry about it I would recommend a Lankota box. A&I also sells the same box. | |
