I would be slow to make assumptions in those soil types between crops. It takes comparatively much less rainfall to cause stand loss/crop damage at emergence in those “white” timber soil types than it does established corn. Once well established corn at V10+ is much more hardy and removes the sealing off effect that is a common cause of replant in those soil types. Basically there is near zero correlation between how crops look in those soil types.
