Subject: Problems with chinas pork production.

Have seen a couple articles that show China’s hog production sector showing stress fractures that may affect their need for soy/corn in the coming year.

Current market is about $95/100 cwt (us$). Cost of production is in the $1.50-60 range. Big losses when you figure they harvest 13 million pigs per week.

The financial strain between ASF losses, COP imbalance, and other health problems have some projecting herd contraction of 10-15% during 2022.
