Subject: Skid steer machinery

Oswald No-Till Farm Cleghorn, IA
I’m thinking about buying my first skid steer.

Key uses:

1- snow at my acreage
2- forklift to load planter and put stuff in smaller buildings as well as handle say 2500# pallets.
3- yard cleanup brush and trees or other attachments

I’m thinking CAT, BObcat, CASE/NH, and JCB

I’m not talking high hour use per year but looking to preserve my back and 50 year old loader tractor.

What should I consider and what to stay away from. I have to say I’m intrigued by the JCB side door as I work alone a lot.

TIA
