central mo | I had a co-worker that called Dell and spent 150 bucks on a battery straight from Dell.

I told her should could've gotten it WAY cheaper locally or online ... either one.
After receiving and installing the new battery from Dell the problem was not fixed. She thought she had a second dead battery from Dell. I told her to bring it to work so I could look at it.
I determined that the original battery was working just fine ... the wall charger simply quit charging the battery. I found a local shop that had a charger for 40 bucks, told her to buy it. She plugged it in and all is good now.
So, in closing, she spent 150 bucks on a battery she did not need. Was without her laptop for 2 weeks waiting on the un-needed battery when she could have just bought a charger for 40 bucks at a local shop.
Are you sure it's not the charger that's the problem?? | |
