Texas | Consider stopping at The Rockett Cafe. I’m not certain if Waxahachie annexed that area but it’s been known as the tiny town of Rockett. The cafe is located on FM813. They’re closed on Monday’s and Tuesday’s. Call or check online to find their hours. Great food. There wasn’t an empty parking spot to be found on either side of the road when I came through there last night. That should tell you something.
I wouldn’t advise trying to eat there if you’re driving a semi. No room for it. The cafe is so popular that they need to expand but that’s not really possible at that location.
