I was at the farm in the SE corner of Kandiyohi county week before last. Pretty dry there but it DID rain 2-1/2" on Saturday, Aug 7th The morning I left for home. Compared to closer to Belgrade and north of there, it looked "OK" at that time. No clue on what the yield effects are. I should ask the renter how things really look.

I live on the south edge of Fargo-Moorhead and corn seen from the county road here this weekend looks bad. Very fired now, some is stunted.

Heck, I was just watering some dogwoods and lilac bushes on my back yard property line today as they have been wilting. 90s this weekend and into next week.
