| Agreed. Type of equipment is irrelevant as long as the work is done correctly! The tractor pulling the planter is irrelevant to the custom rate charge.
We hired some custom planting about 10 years ago...the price was reasonable at the time. The custom planting guy got a new planter one year (no different attachments, etc) and thought that he would drastically raise the custom rate. That's the last corn he ever planted for us. | |
