I really think this is all due to the covid talk and potential lockdowns. If the teacher's unions get their way and schools shut down or are only open to vaxed students what does that do to our milk price?

Processors should be thinking about getting products made for Foodservice for fall sporting events, schools, and the normal fall sales. Instead, I feel that many are sitting back waiting for confirmed orders and food service folks are only buying hand to mouth.

If this uncertainty abounds what will the price of milk be? Does this get way uglier into fall or do feed prices and low milk prices make people sell the cows and the corn? But how many have to go to make up for the lost demand?

Not trying to be political and making no point to get the vax or not it just seems this is really the only explanation for why we are so counter-seasonal in pricing.

Last year got burned on the DRP so I didn't do it. Now thinking I should have.
