Ross County, Ohio | My mother used to come out of the funeral home and say,"Oh! He (or she) just looked like they could have sat up and start talking to you. Don't you think?" I was sixteen the last time she said that to me. My reply," Nay! Not really! He looked fricken dead to me." She has never asked me to attend another funeral.
I went to a funeral of a friends cousin. Sadly, the cousin had committed suicide. The grandmother in just making a general statement asked," What was going through his head when he did that?" My friend said," Probably Buck shot." SMH! | |
