I had both knees replaced at the same time on July 22, 2008. God healed me and was able to run the combine in the fall.
I was thinking of getting mine done around Thanksgiving so I would be done with harvest. A friend suggested that I have the surgery after planting. His reason was that if I had complications or did not heal as fast as I should that it would be easier to get help to harvest or hire harvesting done than getting help or hiring planting done if things did not work as planned.
