We were in the same spot. She took hers as soon as she turned 62 in Dec. I turned 65 in March, took mine so 1 time messing with Medicare also. We didn't need it but it sure was nice to get it all out of the way. But boy-o-boy, the phone calls and letters sure started. I made my plan, Part B, $113 Supplemental to keep original Medicare and $6.43 prescription plan....James
