LOL

I remember once when I was very young (maybe 4 or 5) my dad taking a piece of baling wire and cinching up my falling down pants by using it between two belt loops in my trousers. I'm surprised now he did not use twine but I also remember our bales were almost always wire tied as he hated the twine because mice would chew through it and make a mess in the hay mow.

He always carried pliers in his bibs and was a wizard with baling wire. He never was much of a mechanic (maybe why I grew up to be one - I owned more mechanic tools than he did by the time I started high school) but it was amazing what he could do with pliers and baling wire.
