Oregon		If you worked on it before, how did he pay you then? Cash only or do you have payment informant from a check? Obviously if you took a check in the past, or a credit card, your bank could help you identify the customer.

Maybe ask around the parts counter at a local equipment dealer or auto parts store - someone you do business with who will talk to you about that kind of thing.
