I've been conned. And the result is a someone got into my computer and 'deleted' a complete documents folder, and a photo file folder.

When I saw something unusual on the screen, i twigged something was wrong, and held the power button in until the computer closed down.

Then on restart, deleted anything from the source the problem came from.

Question.  Are there programs that can re instate files that have been deleted?   [I believe that in criminal cases they say that deleted files are not really deleted to those who know how to dig for them!]
