Thanks to you guys for suggesting cleaning up the steering wheel really good (I used the suggested alcohol) and I installed a new foam roller and it works like champ now. I planted 80 acres of corn and by acre 20 I probably could have turned the markers off (it was still nice to have confirmation though).
