Our local paper used to brag about having 50,000 people look at its separate classified paper. Our local paper used to have 2 editions each week. Now our local cheerleader paper for every tax funded program and tax building project has one paper a week, has dropped the separate classified paper and still charges the same amount for one little paper a week. Interestingly another company puts out a paper that is all classifieds each week that is free. It's been going for several years so it's not a flash in the pan. |
