ECIL | I worked in a retail store for a number of years. Every day I spent time putting merchandise back in it's place because people were too lazy or messy to do it themselves. Too many times I watched someone take an item from the shelf or hook, look at it, and drop it instead of putting it back. At times a display would almost be wrecked due to sloppy customers. Boxes torn open, packages ripped, merchandise strewn on the floor because the customer wanted "the one near the bottom" but too careless to put the stack back together. I don't miss working retail in the slightest bit and can see what that lady is talking about. And understand why you went elsewhere. | |
