Quebec, Canada | I did a quick google search for getting NMEA 0183 into Android but didn’t find anything too promising. Mostly boating enthusiasts asking how to replace old navigation computers with tablets. The most common response seemed to be along the lines of “don’t cheap out and get another laptop”.
There are plenty of serial to usb adapters so I suspect that it is possible, but I don’t know what combination of hardware and software are needed. | |
