| That code is a mismatch in pressure of more than 725 psi between the actual and desired rail pressure. I worked on a 7930 recently that had that code. Did not smoke or have low performance, it ran good on the dyno and sounded good. ECU was wanting to see 16600 psi rail pressure and the most it would develop was 14200 psi under a load above 1900 engine rpm. Long story short, it had good fuel supply, suction control valve and relief valve were good, and the high pressure pump was not bypassing above specifications. The injectors were bypassing too much when measured into a container. Replaced them and it ran the same hp on the dyno as before but no codes and rail pressures match the desired pressure from the ECU. | |
