Northeast Indiana | Im rebuilding a c12 right now, i didnt want anything to do with cats attempts at emission engines. C13 maybe a ok engine. Just a c12 with twin turbos and other bs on it in my opinion.
Im replacing a 3176b with a rolling core c12. Thats why im rebuilding. Cams and cam followers are the main wear item in these higher mileage engines. The c12 im using only had one cylinder that didnt have one of the three cam lobes with wear.
I would look at service records on both and just pick the one you like. Their both gonna cost money to keep running. | |
