Subject: RE: Frosted beans

Southeast WI
One never knows with frost. As far south as you are planting that early shouldn't be a huge risk - what's your average last frost date? Here it's around May 7 so planting earlier than the end of April carries more risk. Not much in our immediate area was planted ultra early but do have neighbors that replanted 100's of acres of beans and corn. One shouldn't ever consider a may 28-29 frost in their risk equation as it almost never happens. One of those odd years. Lot of beans regrowing like this one.
