God's Country (N.C. Ia) | That kind of reminds me of when the hog market went to eight bucks in ‘98. Cull sow price was so cheap a mentor of mine said the hog guys should’ve shot the damn things rather than take the horse **** price the packer was offering. Fwiw, I only had a handful of butcher hogs back then, and needless to say, haven’t owned a hog since. Thanks for the humor, but as true as it is, like Garvo says, I’d kick my dog if I had one. | |
