Earlville, NY | I've read about a number of livestock operators installing vfd pumps for their water needs. I'm curious if anyone could tell me what brand of pumps and controllers they use, if there are any you would stay away from etc. This isn't covering big distances, it's for a 500 cow dairy. I currently have a vfd well pump, we water the cows from a
4000 gal tank (that collects plate cooler water) that feeds a regular pump and pressure tank setup that seems to have a few issues every year (usually on a Sunday or really hot day; ie like today!) Bad pressure switches, burned out pumps, leaky pressure tanks. Thanks for advice. | |
