Nearby I think you're right.
Longer term I think they are poised for a breakout above 160 for a big move in the next year unless we don't raise a corn crop. Can't believe how cheap pairs are right now but I suppose they are justified considering feed prices and no grass BUT it sure feels like we are only a year or two away from $2500 cows. $1800 breds $2500 pairs at Joplin Regional this past week. This part of the country is wet currently and grass has flourished. |
