Le Sueur VIA St.Thomas | I'm not into birds, but one mother Robin has changed that just a bit. My girls, 3 and 5, have a quaking aspen right outside their bedroom window. A couple weeks ago, we noticed a Robin starting to build a nest. Fast forward to the attached picture from this morning (not a great pic) and you will see her tending to her eggs.
It is a pretty fun thing to experience. Every morning, Emily sits at the window to find out what is going on with the world ten feet from her window. The girls have been able to 'sneak a peak' while mom has been away, and report anywhere from one to four eggs.
The saga will continue and will surely get more interesting. There are a lot of life lessons to be learned from this nest.
I thight it was kind of fitting, given the day.
