Just rolled up the first field of alfalfa. Tonnage on this years first cut equaled 3rd cut from last year. Long range forecast shows nothing over a 25% change of rain and 90 degrees or more for next 2 weeks. Outlook doesn’t look promising. Probably see some fireworks in the grain markets if that forecast holds true for the western corn belt around end of June.
