Friend is head of IT for a major company and said they were close to getting hit during Easter weekend said they caught them in the network late Friday. Took them the whole weekend to keep them out. He said another 10 hours later and the hackers would have had full control.
Colonial had to pay ransom. But further emboldens them. Guessing JBS will be spending their profits to do the same. Might as well do it today. If their IT was poor enough to let them in they sure as hell aren't good enough to get them out of this mess quickly. | |
