KY | I’ve wrapped wheat that should have good protein but haven’t tested yet. Plan is to limit feed grain mix with mineral and supplement instead of stuffer and free choice wheat. Then last 60 days pour the coal to them. Lol. I don’t have a tmr. Nutritionist says breakeven would be 1.05 if corn hit $8. Any thoughts? Have you ever free choiced steers in confinement with wheat bales? Have I lost my mind?
