Killing small elm trees in pasture
south central kansas
Have hundreds of small Chinese elm trees coming up in 40 acre pasture. They range from 1’ to 4’ tall with some being bigger.
What would be the best time of year and herbicide to use to spray to kill them?
I plan on cutting the bigger ones down and treating the stumps.
Had thought about mowing them but that just creates another problem.
