Doing some shopping for my first planer. I'm currently looking at a Dewalt 735x. Does anyone have any experience with this model? Or any suggestions on other similarly sized/priced machines? I was really spoiled in high school as we had all industrial sized Powermatic tools (table saw, planer, jointer, lathe, bandsaw).

I currently have a table saw, miter saw, band saw, and jointer. I feel that the planer is the missing piece of the puzzle for me. I would like to get one this winter and build some projects that I've been wanting to do for a while now.
