Northern Illinois
Morton is 7'6". Morton is pretty "proud" of their sheet metal. We ordered the H.D. panels from menards. We had them cut them 6" longer . 15'6" So have them cut 16'6" so you have 3" overlap on ea. end. We used those T-6 6 bulb light fixtures. Low amp requirement. We nailed a elec. box on the truss centered between the ribs with a 3/4 drywall mud ring. We then traced around them with a roto zip and used the screw holes in the mud ring to mount the fixture. We then used a couple of metal to metal screws to secure the ends of the fixture to the ribs. We bought a genie scissors lift on ebay any a Milwaukee battery impact and a drill/driver kit to drive screws. They will pay for themselves. Also menards/Midwest manufacturing has a better selection of trim pieces than Morton. We used a dewalt laser to keep the edge straight and true. Our lights we spaced 7.5' in from the outside wall and then 15' to the next row. We started one truss in and the mounted a light on every other truss. Those lights have 2 ballasts so you can turn 3 or 6 bulbs. We use 3 in the summer with the doors open and all 6 at night or when the doors are closed and you can really see. FYI wear a knit hat when you put up the ceiling tin so when you get home you won't wonder why the hell your head hurts so bad in the center.......after you wore you ball cap style hat the whole day. We then had 13" of fiberglass blown in which gave us a R 39 value. Good Luck
