That is what we would use as well. We still have two mechanical stone pickers (including a large Lockwood) but they pretty much jsut sit. We do have an old farm site with a bunch of small stones that we will use the Lockwood on. But 12 ft windrower . tracked skid steer and small dump truck works for us.

Then as the piles get large enought we pick up the large piles with lead trailer and loader. We then take them to a common site where they are sorted and sold. And the potato harvesters pick a lot of small stone and those are picked up and taken to storage site as well.
