Monkeywrench, you are right to say who is left...

Its getting harder, but there are still choices out there.

We have gone with NK, syngenta seeds for 2010. They have their own verson of Corn Borer BT. I was told by the dealer that it is a separate agreement from monsanto and no proceeds go to monsanto. I probably will not have to sign anything as I signed a refuge agreement in the past. The dealer also told me syngenta has separate agreements for corn, soys etc.

We are actually planting 50% NBt (conventional) this year. As it is a good natural hybrid with some resistance to corn borer without any gene. Only problem is it is a little long day for us, so we won't bank on more than 50%.

Several companies are out there and quite a few still have some NBt and Bt hybrids without roundup etc. But they are getting less.

The only way to get the message out there is to tell the dealers your preference. Then they take this back to their bosses.
